September 22 ( a Monday) - Special Event: National Press Club 100th anniversary nationwide tour to premier a new movie on journalism, plus panel discussion with Jim Taricani, Dan Jaehnig, Tim White, head of URI School of Journalism plus representative from MSNBC in NY discussing First Amendment, Freedom of the Press.  AM in Providence, PM at URI.  In large 500 seat auditoriums; free to all; attendees will receive free copy of film shown.

October 7 (a Tuesday) - Insight into Middle East Politics and Global Economic Development - speaker: Antoine Azzam, Consul of Lebanon at the Consulate General of Lebanon, NY.

November 6 - Hunger Throughout the World - speaker John Hammock, Assoc. Prof. of Public Policy, Tufts University.

December 4 - Brazil Becoming a Major Factor in World Affairs

January 15 - International Arms Trade

February 5 - Climate Change

March 5 - Human Rights - Marsha Lieberman, Coordinator of Chapter of Amnesty International and (tentative) Josh Rubenstein, Director of the Northeast Region of Amnesty International.

April 2 - Worldwide Immigration

May 7 - The First 100 Days of the  New (Republican or Democratic) Administration

June 4 or 11 - Annual off-site meeting, subject to be announced
