Kudos

The WACRI Kudos page acknowledges and thanks those Board Members, Officers, Members and Friends whose special efforts contribute to our fine organization.

1. Kudos to Ingrid Wild Kleckner, WACRI Board Member and special WACRI representative on behalf of our International Visitors Program who did such a fine job representing our organization at the annual Regional Meeting of the National Council of International Visitors, held in June in Rochester, NY.  She not only represented WACRI most admirably, but came back with dozens of new ideas, special insight and a spate of new contacts.  Thanks, Ingrid.
   
   
2. Kudos to Catherine Hanni, WACRI Board Member and Director of our International Visitors Program who, only weeks after being elected to our board and being appointed as head of our visitors program, took on our very first overseas visitors delegation.  Over the 4th of July holiday, Catherine arranged a comprehensive series of meetings throughout the State for a very special Italian visitor that included meetings with top politicians, educators, introductions to Senator Sheldon Whitehouse, House Representative Patrick Kennedy and a special visit to the Bristol 4th of July parade.  That visitor was Marco Pacciotti, Deputy chief, Department of Welfare, Democrats of the Left, Italy.
